Over 91: Buttler gets to his 2nd Test fifty in style. Punches it through extra cover for four. ENG lead by 139. He then survives a close LBW shout as he looks to leave one that shapes back in sharply. Replays show it was clipping off. Buttler then punches one through covers for the 2nd boundary of the over. 8 runs off the over.
Over 92: Full on middle and leg, Root flicks it through mid-wicket for a boundary. The next one comes back in sharply, Root looks to defend but gets a bottom edge into the ground, it nearly rolls on to the stumps but Root kicks it away. Aaron then darts in a fiery bouncer at 86 mph, Root just about sways away from the line. Root brings up 300 and 150-run lead for England with a lovely cover drive.
Over 93: Finally, Pankaj Singh has a smile on his face. He finally gets a wicket after 69.2 overs, 416 balls! He has Root caught behind! Short on the pads, Root looks to clip but the ball brushes his gloves on its way to the keeper. JE Root c Dhoni b Pankaj Singh 77 (161b 7x4 0x6). A wicket maiden from Pankaj!

Over 94: A couple of crunching drives through extra cover from Buttler. Two boundaries in the over. Buttler isn't afraid to play it in the air! 8 runs off the over.

Over 96: The Indians resorting to the short ball strategy as Aaron bowls from round the wicket. The first ball is short outside off and Buttler slashes it over backward point for a boundary. Woakes then slices a full delivery outside off through the slip cordon for a boundary to end the over. 9 runs off the over.
Over 97: Double happiness for Pankaj as he has the wicket of Buttler. Clever change of pace, Full and slower outside off, Buttler is drawn into the drive and he hits it uppishly straight to mid off. Lunch, day 3: Another session that goes England's way. They scored 88 runs for the loss of 2 wkts. The hosts now lead by 173. Root and Buttler further strengthened England's position but the story of the morning was Pankaj Singh getting off the mark int he wickets column. He managed to scalp 2 wickets. England would look to up the ante after the break as to much time has been lost because of rain.

Over 98: What an eventful over!!! Broad smacks a couple of consecutive sixes off short deliveries from Aaron. The third ball is also short, Broad again looks to pull but gets a top edge, the ball sneaks in between the grill of the helmet and hits him smack on the nose. He walks off RETIRED HURT........ James Anderson is the new batsman.
Over 99: Pankaj resorts to short deliveries now. Woakes at first looks to pull but misses, he then tries the slash but again misses. The third one is right on the body, Woakes fends it away with his gloves. Woakes then takes a single, Anderson then uses his feet and looks to slash one but misses.

Over 100: Three runs off the over. England going for the big shots now........
Over 101: Pankaj drifts the first one onto Woakes' pads, the latter just nudges it to fine leg for a boundary. He then pushes on to the off side for a single. 5 runs off the over.
The question is, when will England declare? They seem to be wasting time here.
Over 102: After five dots, Woakes gives himself room and upper cuts it to third man for a one bounce boundary.
Over 103: Anderson fends one off his ribs for a single, Woakes then takes a single with a restrained upper cut to third man. Anderson then dances down the track and cracks a pull off a short delivery for a boundary through mid-wicket and then drives one through covers for a couple. 7 runs off the over.

Over 104: 3 runs off the over. Woakes takes a single off the first ball, Anderson then unleashes his reverse sweep for a couple.

Over 106: Finally India have bowled out England for 367! Anderson gets too far across and looks to flick but misses, the ball skids on and hits his pads. They all go up in a huge appeal and the umpire lifts the finger. JM Anderson lbw b Jadeja 9 (19b 1x4 0x6)
Over 1: Anderson straightaway getting good shape. 2 runs off the first over. It will require a marathon effort for the Indian batsmen from here on.
As Broad is not on the field, Chris Woakes will share the new ball with Anderson.
Over 2: A decent first over from Woakes, trying to bring the ball into Gambhir. Off the fourth delivery. Gambhir missed his flick and got hit high on the pads. A stifled LBW appeal was turned down by the umpire.
Over 3: A couple of outsingers followed by a vicious Bouncer, Vijay sways away from the line at the last moment. He then tucks one to mid-wicket off the final delivery for a couple.
Over 4: A maiden. Woakes trying to generate some extra pace. A good disciplined over.
