Hello and welcome to the coverage of fifth and final day of the third Test between England and India at The Rose Bowl, Southampton. Play starts at 3.30 PM. Follow this link for live scores and updates.
Pitch - The track looks pretty dry and it's one of the best surfaces of all five days. There is some brown grass on the pitch which will assist the pacers. It will be a tough task for the Indian batsmen to save this match.
Kohli last evening: It's been pretty tough since they restricted us to 330. We needed to have 2 wickets down this evening. It was a better day for England. Right now what we can see is that there are two batters at the crease and we hope that they keep going. You have to be patient in this game, when you do get runs you get it big. We have made a few mistakes, as far as our batting is concerned, the others have stepped nicely. When it does come my way Iwill make sure I will get plenty. You got to play every over as it comes. Once we get through the first hour, we can get into the groove.

What a brilliant performance from England. They outclassed India in every department. The batsmen laid the platform helping them post a mammoth 569 in the first innings. The senior bowlers, Stuart Broad and James Anderson then led the way in the bowling department as they bundled out India for 330. It was advantage England from then on as England set India a target of 445. After the pacers it was the turn of Moeen Ali to show his worth as he ripped through the Indian middle order in the second innings to power England to a 266-run win.
Rahane was the lone shining star in India's arsenal with half-centuries in both the innings. He remained no out on 52 in the second innings.
England have finally won a Test after going winless in their last eleven matches.
Dhoni: It don't think we didn't play good cricket here. Moeen bowled well be still we let him bowl well. We need to get positive against the spinners. Last session yesterday had a great impact ont he game. There were soft dismissals. We never used the fifth bowler. We needed to get a batsman who can bowl. We need to get patient on these kind of wickets. We will have to re-think about the four bowler policy. Whatever is best we will have to sit and decide over it. Ishant won't be available for the 4th Test match. Pankaj bowled very good lengths but he was unlucky. I was definitely impressed with his bowling. We have to be a bit more positive going forward.
Cook: I am Happy more than relieved. Thngs went our way and every single member contributed to the win. It was a perfect win. The crowd was fantastic and the reception that I got when I walked off on lunch on first day I will never ever forget. Frustrated that I didn't get a hundred in the game but I will take 160 odd runs in the game. There was a bit of scramble for stumps after the win. Moeen's bowling has come leaps and bounds since the start of the summer. He's learning pretty well. Brilliant debut for Buttler. His keeping was brilliant too. Anderson set the tone today and you can't ask more from the leader of the attack.
James Anderson, Man of the Match: It was a nice birthday present. The whole game we played brilliantly. A good score on the board makes it easy for the bowlers. Due credits to Bell, Ballance and Cook and then Moeen was brilliant today. We've enjoyed ourselves through out the five days. If it keeps swinging throughout the series, I can keep performing the same way.
