Bhuvi plays out a maiden from Plunkett without too much fuss.
No luck for England. Shami slogs one high over square leg but it falls in no man's land. He had no control of that shot. Poor Broad is driven to his haunches in frustration.
Bhuvi tucks one to square leg for a single leaving Shami to face one ball from Broad.
FOUR! A low full toss down legside is flicked to fine leg by Shami, who once again plays the stroke one one leg.
The partnership is now worth 84 and India are 430 for 9.
Shami has moved on to 37, which is his highest score in first-class cricket
Somehow Plunkettt gets one to spit at Shami, who is in all sorts of trouble trying to fend it away from his face. He manages to do so in the end without much damage.
Shami tried to cut one from middle stump. He misses or does he? Prior doesn't go up at first, then follows Cook's appeal. Plunkett doesn't. Then he turns around and politely asks the umpire if that is out. Umpire says no. But replay suggests a noise as ball passes bat.
England will not want to see that replay.
Hot spot also confirms a little nick.
The partnership is now worth 87. That is the second best of the innings after Dhoni and Vijay, who added 126 together.
Broad bowls the final over of the extra half-hour but he cannot crack the resistance of India's last-wicket partnership.
India go in to tea on 433 for 9 after losing 4 wickets for 2 at the start of the session. Bhuvi is on 46, Shami is on 39.. England will be very disappointed. India will be buoyant.
Neither Bhuvi nor Shami has looked troubled by what England has thrown at them. Except for a couple of slogs by Shami, they have looked very much in control.
How will England respond after tea? They have struck after the break each time so perhaps they will wrap things up once play resumes.
Cook's captaincy has been unorthodox but he has perhaps not made the smartest choices on a pitch that did nothing for the bowlers.
Rather than try the short ball as often as he did, he could have saved it as a surprise tactic and concentrated on bowling straight and full and letting the variable bounce of the pitch do his work for him.
We will be back in about 15 minutes.
Shami flashes hard at a short ball from Plunkett but misses everything.
There is a short leg and a silly point and a gully in place. No slip though.
Wasim Akram is incredulous with the lack of effort from England's bowlers. Meanwhile Shami pinches two runs square on the wicket on the offside.
Cook has three fielders in a rink on the offside straddling the point region with Anderson bowling to Bhuvi. Not sure what he is trying to accomplish here.
At least there is a slip in place.
Bhuvi absolutely creams one through the covers but only picks up a single because there is a sweeper in place.
After 155 overs, Inda is 436 for 9, with Bhuvi on 47 and Shami on 41.
OUT! Cook has moved too far across his stumps here. Shami gets it to shape back into the lefthander and the ball clips Cook's pads and then goes on to hit the leg stump.
AN Cook b Mohammed Shami 5 (10b 1x4 0x6) SR: 50.00
After 4 overs, England is 9 for 1.
Gary Ballance is the new man. England have it all to do here.
Shami beats Robson with a one that just leaves him a touch. Good carry too.
India all over England at the moment.
Shami gets a yorker wrong and Robson tucks him to deep midwicket for three runs. The umpire sticks out his arm to signal no-ball as well.
Bhuvi gets Robson to poke at one around off-stump but it falls short of gully.
Robson redeems himself the next ball with three to deep square leg.
Nasser Hussain says this is a good pitch. Just a flat surface.
FOUR! A misfield from Bhuvi gives Robson some bonus runs. Bhuvi looked up before he had gathered the ball and allowed it to run between this legs to the ropes.
After 8 overs, England is 24 for 1, with Robson on 15 and Ballance on 2.
Time for Ishant Sharma. This should help England.
Quiet over from Ishant to start. Just a single from it.
Shami continues at the other end.
Balance has a wild slog at a short one from Shami. He might be feeling a bit of pressure having limped to 2 from 19 balls.
