England clinched another day as they had India reeling at 323/8 at the end of day 3. The seniors were under tremendous pressure to deliver. Skipper Alastair Cook led the way in the batting department and then James Anderson and Stuart Broad bowled impressive spells to scalp 6 out of the 8 Indian wickets.
Pitch: The track still looks good for batting. There might be a little bit of bounce in it but it will still be a batsman's pitch. Wasim Akram reckons that England should inflict a follow-on on this track....
India need 47 more runs to avoid follow-on. Anderson will start off proceedings for England.
And It's Jimmy Anderson's birthday today....... A five-for would be a perfect gift for the English paceman. He's scalped 3 wickets so far.
