It has been a disappointing World Cup for India and it could get worse today. They take on defending champions Australia today in a match they will do well to draw.
Plagued by poor defending and shambolic attempts at penalty corners, India have won one, lost two, drawn one game so far in the tournament, giving them four points and leaving them fourth in Group A, above Spain and Malaysia.
Australia are top of the group, having won all four of their games.
They have scored 15 goals and conceded just one. It won't be easy for India to breach the Australian defence today.
India do have something to play for though. They can improve on their eighth place finish in the 2010 World Cup if they manage to stay in fourth place in this group. If Spain beats Malaysia later today and India lose, India will drop to fifth.

Two mins: GOAL! India give the ball away, Australia break. They look to have made a hash of the two-on-one initially but the ball breaks to Kieran Govers running in at the back post and he slots it past Sreejesh.
The worst possible start for India.
It is the quickest goal India has conceded in this tournament and has made an uphill task even steeper.
Five mins: Australia have a long corner but it comes to nothing. India can't hold on to the ball though and a misplaced cross-field pass hands possession back to the defending world champions.
Thinks have slowed down a bit after that frenetic start.

9 mins: India finally get some forward momentum but a misplaced pass outside Australia's D ends the threat.
11 mins: India come forward again down the right but the move breaks down against a packed Australian defence. Still, India showing signs of life.
12 mins: Australia counter down the left and Govers gets off a snap shot that Sreejesh is forced to tip over the bar. That was travelling at some speed.
13 mins: Australia work the ball around h India's defense. They get it into the D but India win the free hit after a clash of sticks.
14 mins: Australia break down the right now but India is up to the task and attack on the break. A poor pas from Chinglensana is intercepted at the edge of Australia's D and the chance is gone.
Fifteen minutes gone and the early Australian goal still separates the two teams.
15 mins: Australia have won their first Penalty Corner.
15 mins: GOAL Chris Ciriello sweeps the ball past Sreejesh on the left. Excellent worked penalty corner created the space for the shot and it was past Sreejesh almost before he saw it.
India could be in for a rout today.
18 mins: Australia come streaming forward again and win a long corner on the right but the India end up with the 16-yard hit.

19 mins: Another Penalty Corner for Australia. A good ball into the D is controlled by Australia and eventually comes off Raghunath's foot.
20 mins: GOAL! India stop playing after the ball hit the shins of Raghunath but the referee plays the advantage and Jeremy Hayward smashes it in off Sreejesh's shoulder.
Another Penalty Corner for Australia. Raghunath gets a green card for time wasting and has to sit for two mins
23 mins GOAL! That's three out of three for Australia. Ciriello again. This time he swept it low past a diving Sreejesh and into the left-hand corner of the goal.
India reeling here. This could get ugly very fast.

25 mins: SAVE Dwyer gets off a snap shot from the right of the D but Sreejesh gets his pads in the way to prevent further damage.

27 mins: DOUBLE-SAVE! Dwyer again has the ball on the right and squares it but Sreejesh is in the right place to block it and stuffs the rebound from Ockenden as well. He has been India's best player in this tournament.
