The second half has begun the same way as the first one ended - sloppily.
38 mins: The Korean goalie gets in a vital block as India break into the D. There was an unmarked Indian attacker behind the goalkeeper with the rest of the defense well out of position.
Both sides continue to swap the ball before Korea come forward strongly and win a long corner.
40 mins: Korea get a shot off but it goes wide off an Indian stick and a long corner results.

56 mins: India comes forward again and have plenty of spaces to run into but Dharamvir can't find the final pass and Indian heads are thrown back in frustration.
A sloppy pass goes past Sardar and Korea race forward but good last-ditch defending means the ball and player run out of play.

Harjot now comes on for Sreejesh in the dying minutes. Sreejesh has been India's best player in this tournament by far.
Korea still pressing forward but still unable to find the killer ball. India win it back and come forward in turn.

THAT'S IT! INDIA HAVE BEATEN KOREA AND FINISHED NINTH.

India took no chances at the end by playing the ball into the corner. Even though a last minute goal would not have changed anything, they appear to have to learned a few lessons.
Sardar Singh: We started really good and we have lots of youngers playing first time in this event. Really impressed as team is improving match to match. Little disappointed with the game against Belgium and Spain.
Sardar Singh: Need to improve many things. This year is very important for us with Commonwealth and Asian Games. If we win, we qualify for the Olympics so we need to keep improving.
So India end their World Cup on a high and know exactly what they need to work on for the Commonwealth Games in July.
