Hello and welcome to our coverage of India's third game in the 2014 Hockey World Cup. Their opponents tonight are Spain, who have one draw and one loss so far in the competition. Both teams will know anything less than three points today and they can kiss the small chance they have of making the semi-finals goodbye.
India have conceded two goals inside the last two minutes of each game to lose both. It is a flaw that has plagued the team for some time and coach Terry Walsh will be desperate to put an end to the trend
The match starts at 9 pm IST.
India have also been poor with penalty corners. They clearly miss Sandeep Singh in this area.
Having said all that, this is a game India can win. Spain is ranked 10th, two places below India.
The bigger picture for India, of course, is to show improvement. If the team keeps making the same mistakes, that is a huge problem.
