Hello and welcome to our coverage of India's third game in the 2014 Hockey World Cup. Their opponents tonight are Spain, who have one draw and one loss so far in the competition. Both teams will know anything less than three points today and they can kiss the small chance they have of making the semi-finals goodbye.
India have conceded two goals inside the last two minutes of each game to lose both. It is a flaw that has plagued the team for some time and coach Terry Walsh will be desperate to put an end to the trend
The match starts at 9 pm IST.
4 mins: Sreejesh called upon to clear again as the ball is smashed into the Indian D. Has to put in the dive too this time. Poor touch from the Spain forward let him down.
5 mins: Spain earn a long corner on the left but when the ball is worked into the D, India's defense clear the danger.
6 mins: India give the ball away in midfield and Spain break. The ball is slid into the D and Gurbaj is forced to concede the penalty corner.
7 mins: SAVE! Sreejsh dives to his right to keep the ball out. It was at a good height but he appears to have hurt himself when he dives to save the rebound as well.
10 mins: India now moving the ball into Spanish territory down the left. They swing the ball across to the right, where Manpreet wins the free hit.
Now knocking the ball around looking for an opening.
11 mins: It is fired into the D by Rupinder from just passed the half-way line but Lalit can't get on to the end of it.
The game has slowed down after an end-to-end start. Both sides finding it harder to build an attack now.
13 mins: Mandeep shows lovely skill going past two defenders on the line in the Spanish D but the end result is only a long corner after a good stick challenge.
15 mins: A Spanish break ends up with a reverse flick fired across goal but the whistle is blown for dangerous player. Mandeep didn't know that when he intercepted the ball though as Sreejesh flies into him and falls into the goal.
16 mins: Spain get a free hit on the right of India's D but the whistle is blown and India get the ball back.
16 mins: Chinglesana goes on a nice run down the left and fires off a shot but it is easily saved by the Spanish goalie.
17 mins: SAVE! Spain get a two-man break but Delas didn't have much of angle to work with and Sreejesh is able to block the route to goal and make the save with his pads. Nervous moment for India though. They were completely caught out.

Spain have had 69 percent of the possession so far. That is not what India wants.
19 mins: India try and find a way into the Spanish D down the right but nothing comes of it. India having trouble keeping the ball for any length of time now.
Still scoreless after 20 minutes of the first half.
21 mins: India lose the ball on the edge of the Spanish D and Spain breaks rapidly but scuff the chance when the forward whiffs on his cross. India immediately go up the field the other but Raghunath's slap into the D runs out of play.
23 mins: Penalty corner for Spain. David Alegre shows good skill and flicks the ball into the D from the right and Manpreet's foot concedes the penalty corner.
24 mins: Raghunath charges the shot down and Spain waste another penalty corner.
India now have the ball. Can they hang on to it?
The answer is no. Spain gets the ball back in short order.
Spain camping in India's 25 now.
26 mins: Rupinder shows good skill to steal the ball from a Spanish attacker and India push forward for a change.
27 mins: India tries to pass the ball into the D on the right but it goes out of play.
Plenty of spaces in India's midfield at the moment. That was the problem in the Belgium game.
28 mins: Mandeep is tripped in the Spanish D after a wonderful through ball from Dharamvir and India has a penalty stroke.
GOAL! Rupinder went low and to the goalie's right and the ball sneaks in to the goal.
That came against the run of play but India won't be complaining.
29 mins: India have the ball in the goal again but this time it won't count. Lalit's ball in went through the D untouched.
30 mins: Spain now have the ball in the net after some neat interplay in the D but the whistle blows. The ball had come off Piera's leg in the build up.
31 mins: Spain come right back and win a free hit on the right.
32 mins: India win the ball back and rush up the field. Uthappa fires in the ball and Mandeep gets a touch but it goes well wide of the Spanish goal.
33 mins: Yuvraj gets off a snap shot from tight angle which is easily saved by Cortes in goal.
GOAL! Sreejesh makes three great saves but the fourth shot from Oliva beats him.
The goal came from a loose pass from Sardar Singh, who tried to move it across the field and it was easily intercepted.
Once again India concedes a goal in the final minutes of a half.
Spain deserved the equaliser. They have been the better team.

Spain had 6 shots to India's two in the first half, but four of them came in the sequence that led to the goal. They also just narrowly lead in circle penetrations - 15 to 12.
