20 mins: SAVE! Sreejesh comes up with another save, rushing out to narrow the angle and keep Belgium from opening the scoring.

24 mins: SAVE! Sreejesh keeping India in this game. The Belgiums stream forward and the ball is worked into the D with short sharp passes. India defenders back off and allow the Belgian player to strike the ball but Sreejesh is in the right place at the right time.

25 mins: India break down the left and the ball ends up in the goal but it won't count because it was struck from outside the goal. The Indian forward did not make the run across goal.
26 mins: Belgium win another long corner.
27 mins: Belgium win another penalty corner. They lose the ball on the 23-metre line and Belgium work the ball right and into the D, where the ball strikes an India player.

30 mins: India finally have the ball and break down the right but the ball is lost as they try to dribble into the D.

35 mins: India launch their best attack of the half and the ball is battered around inside the Belgium D but the final touch is lacking.
At half-time, Belgium lead India 1 - 0.
That goal was coming given how much possession Belgium had. India need to find a way to hang on to the ball in the second half.
Belgium have taken 7 shots, five of which have been on goal. India didn't have a single shot on goal in the first half. Belgium had 18 circle penetrations. India had 3. That sums it up.

India's spacing seems to be a problem. There is too much space between the players in attack allowing Belgium to intercept passes with ease.
Belgium playing a tiki-taka kind of hockey while India is relying on the old fashioned long ball, if I can make that analogy.
44 mins: GOAL! India have the equaliser and it is Mandeep who got the final touch. A simple cross and Mandeep sneaked again of the defense and looped it over the goalie.
India have been much better in the second half after going a goal down. They have been forced to stop playing so deep. Hopefully they don't sit back again and play for the draw now.
